	Hi all, ive got a harvey frost crane setup and i want to build a period truck up, any suggestions on which truck/chassis i should use? was thinking mk1 transit but i know there chassis are not that strong. would prefer a seperate c section chassis truck, within the 3500 gross weight and pre 72 if poss cheers mart

	whats the maximum gross weight of a lwb landy? local to me theres a bedford flatbed truck 1960 ish i know its not a tk its the same size as a transit, any ideas what model it could be ill get a pic tomorrow as I'm passing that way.

	Go with the Land Rover. A coil sprung 110 Land Rover is 3050kg gross weight, a 130 is 3500kg. They can tow up to 4000kg with coupled brakes. I wouldn't bother converting a Series Land Rover to coils as a genuine coiler would be a cheaper option. Any how all Land Rovers look Retro and even a modern one drives like an old car. Just add a few dings and scratches to make it look authentic.
