	So I drive a K10. Completely standard at the moment, but some time this month I wanna drop it on the standard 35mm lowering springs, then I wanna get some 13" Starmags on it but the trouble I'm having is that as far as I know Starmags only come in 7 x 13". The 13" part is fine, that's what size I want, but I don't know if 7's paired with the lowering will fit, without rubbing or some arch modding. I don't really want to bend the arches out because I only wanna mod stuff that can be put back to standard because I know I'll want to some day. I want 55 wall tyres. I believe 7" wide wheels fit 175 tyres but I was wondering if I put 165's on them so they were slightly stretched if that would help them fit into the arches?. Any advice on what sizes/dimensions will fit, or anything I can change, or different tyre sizes or ANYTHING at all that will help please let me know. Cheers. Ryan.

	firstly, its not so much width that will be your issue, it will be offset (the distance which the wheel protrudes from the hub), of my understanding the starmags come in two different offsets? +13 and -7 if i remember correctly? easy way to explain it is an offset of 0 (direct centre) on a 7j wheel will mean you have 3.5inches of rim protruding from your hub, to the J (so about 3.75 to the edge of the rim itself) if you can get a wheel off, measure up how many inches you have from your hub to your arch you can then start playing with widths and offsets as for tyres, if you only have (lets say) 3inches from hub to arch, and you want to put the above fitment wheel on, you'll have half an inch (12mm) of rim past your arch, which doesnt sound a lot, but in real terms can be a nightmare in the eyes of the law, however, if you were to fit a 155 tyre to said 7j rim, in theory the rim will be near a 185 profile so youll have 30mm difference, so 15mm on either side from stretch, meaning your tread will be under the arch, and your wheels will be legal. erm.. i hope ive explained it all in a way you can understand, if not i don't mind trying to elaborate on it further Matt

	Have a play with willtheyfit.com This was mine with 35mm lowering and 165/60R14 (same circumference as 155/70R13) on 14"x6J and et38. Not an world changing stance by any standards, but I didn't modded the arches and was rub free. There was IIRC some space to move the wheels out with that setup, around 10mm each side. Rtlkuubi had 175/50R13 on Starmags, but that one is massively low and had the arches pulled. I would go for a 175/60R13 tyres on a 6x13 alloy with an offset around 35. 165/55R13 will look too small with 35mm lowering, but it will look better with around 60mm lowering.
