One more : RUF BTR - based on the the 930, in 1993 Ruf took the turbocharged 3.3 litre flat-six and bored it out to 3.4 litres. With bigger turbochargers, power went up to 375 BHP, from Porsche's claimed 300/330 BHP. RUF also added bigger brakes, upgraded and lowered the suspension, which was stiffened and lowered and added their own exhaust system. Like the interior, most of the modifications were tailored to the customer's requirements. could also be had i a slant nose or a non-widebody.

Not to everyone's taste, but I LOVE this car, the colour the attitude and the drop top!!! 1989, which was the swansong for the 930 and that platform.

Stunning. I met Alios Ruf at Goodwood a few years ago. An amazing guy with a real passion for cars, speed and Porsche. I got talking to him about a CT-3. He told me that the gearbox in that particular 'press car' was more geared to acceleration, so the car had a modest top speed of 220mph. What a guy!! They also had a electric boxster there that year. I cant find pictures of it, but the interior was stunning. A bit like this. Long live Ruf!!
