I'm not sure if this should be here or in another section, but anyhow...
Been told that it's quite rare to have this engine size with manual box (apparently only 40 made, but I can't find that written anywhere). I've seen standard Jag gearboxes go on Ebay for decent money, but I don't have the means to get the parts off myself.
The car itself is not running, and has been SORNed for about 7 years. Outdoors. Without a sunroof (it was not factory fitted, so never found a replacement) or a decent cover, so the interior and exterior are both shabby in the extreme. I do have loads of body spares (boot, bonnet, headlamps wings, interior panels etc.), and the original hubcaps are still intact.
I need to move her from the current location asap, but I have nowhere else to put her and as she needs a lowloader that's not economically viable. I have to accept that I'm never going to be able to fix her back up, and just get rid.
So - what's the best way to do that, and maximise my income in a short space of time, without a mechanic to hand. Or should I just scrap it and hope to get £100?
Any advice you can give me is appreciated.
