A day of retro racing ;D
Shall be going with me Dad and little sis, because its about time we saw him apparently!
Is anyone else going? And more importantly, anyone going that might be able to supply me with some RR show flyers? I've found a few places that need to know about the show!!
Picking up a new half engine for the imp on the way home as well! (A full 900cc w00p w00p!)

w00p w00p! What a great day that was! Loads of classics racing, and even a "Special GT" race or something, full of radicals, marcos' and the like! Last race was superb, AC Cobras, corvettes, loads of etypes, loved it! Only got to see half of it because it was getting a bit late in the day and my little sister was extremely bored and a bit unwell so we had to head home. Some great racing, huge fun watching minis take on galaxies! Only two imps came out, one went off after only a couple of laps after a collision with a mini of all things!! The other had a fairly solid race, keeping an oldish (3 wheeler!!) 911 honest! Tons of retros were to be seen all over the car parks, and by the end of the day, they all had RR flyers as well! Thanks to Steve for giving me some flyers, nice to meet you sir. I had to pace myself with them and not put them on every worthy car I saw because I would have run out rather quickly. All in all, first trip to Castle Combe and a great success, I even came home with a 900cc imp engine  |
