I might have a slim chance (ie: if Mrs Wagoneer lets me!) on a very nice Standard 10 which looks like That. Rmad says that I should be able to plop a 1500cc Spitfire or similar Trumpet lump in. Does anyone else have any good mods. I would like to make it a very useable car, add seat belts in the rear (kids seats you see) and get to some shows. The bonus is, I just bought a Zafira for Mrs W, with some cash left over!

Dolomite or Toledo rear axle (narrowed?) and some decent stoppers up front, failing that Spitfire/Herald or GT6/Vitesse brakes. Minilites. An external sun visor and a rear venetian blind

Always get mixed up with these models ! Think it was the '8' that didnt have a boot lid . Boot was accessed from behind the rear seat ...pain in the !Yes Spitfire stuff is ,I think a straight (minor alteration )fit .There used to be one (green I think )at the rod runs a lot .I did a 4" chop on one ,but never finished it about 17 yrs ago! Nice choice IMHO!

PCD 3 3/4" same as small Triumphs. They look smart with a set of Spitfire/GT6/old Formula Ford Dunlop rims
