Hey guys been looking for something cool for a wee while now and ive asked around about types of cars but not really getting any where so thought i would ask here... If you can help give me suggestions and pics? I'm looking for ideas on a daily drifter which is retro. not your usual bmw e36 ha ha I have seen cars like the Daihatsu Charmant, the Corolla ke70, Few old Nissans etc... But looking for ideas. I bet there are loads ive missed. Parametres would be 4 dr rwd and retro ha ha not that big on engine size etc. Any thoughts welcome!  |

thanks for the reply... Budget is less than 1k, if possible. I'm more looking for idea on cars that are available... i do like the cav idea.. but fee lits been done before, I'm more interested in unusual old 70s 80s J maybe?
Cav with an engine swap, (sr20 project) would be cool though ha ha

What about Chevette saloon, Mazda 343 (the model that looks like Volvo 340), Carlton, Viva HC / Magnum, Sunny 120Y & B310, Hyundai Pony & Stellar.

Thanks for the reply... Some cool looking cars there... like the datsun b310. Cool wee car, Any other ideas? how easy are these cars to get in the uk, I'm in scotland not too fussed on travelling for the right car at the right monies aswell.

I just bought a mk5 cortina.its old school and rwd it's immaculate and cost £900.what could be better

MK5 cortina is one of the last rear wheel drive bargain fords. I had one for a while it was good fun.

Another vote for the cortina,either Mk3/4/5 variant.Practical,easily maintained and home tuned without too much hassle.Still about for under £1k in useable condition.Ticks most boxes.
