Evening all and thank you for the warm welcome to this forum. So i thought i would start a thread of my Capri for all you lot to have a nosey over.I live in the South Wales area and if any other members in my area, just shout I've had Capri's since about 1986/87 and have had this one since Jan 2004 which i picked up from Cornwall just after it was used for filming by the BBC. This is what happened to the Stunt Capri in the TV series Going Going.... Gone....... Not long after i bought it and changed the 4 spokes to 7 spokes and after i done a bit of work on it a few years ago. How the car looks now.Quite a few mods/upgrades have been done over the years, but nothing over the top as you can see. Hope you like and thanks for looking. Ian.

Looks lovely now, projector headlights too and Focus repeaters? Mk2 grille would help I think. And is that a spoiler I spot in the last pic?

Cheers mate. The front spoiler is an RGA one.Its not to much over the top as such.Yes the car do have some history behind it which is always a good story to tell people who don't know the car. Ian.

Well not much to update about as of yet apart from a dead battery the other day.So this time i ditched the standard type and went for a higher AH and CCA and seems to spin it over a lot better. I think the next job on the cards is to fit one of those leather dash top covers i had for christmas.Should be fun i think.I'll post some photo's though. Also when the weather gets a bit better,i'll be changing the steering set-up from the pump power steering to electric type. Thanks for looking. Ian.

Yes if you could dig some photos out, that would be great. Ian. Here you go Ian , was on CapriPower, was a while back though, i sold the car to a guy from Ireland. Suspension was all 2.8i, Bilsteins, bigger anti roll bars, vented discs, all polly bushed and single leafs on the rear, had a non-Recaro Carla check sports interior and Janspeed exhausts. Had a few Capri's but this was the best, still miss it , had to go to fund my Escort though.
