As the title says really, it's a 1998 Toyota Starlet and when I work up the courage to remove the dash, I'll need someone who can repair the matrix.
The guy I used to use has retired and these skills now seem in short supply!

1998 aint that old so maybe you can get one from a breakers, failing that I'm sure the matrix is just a smaller version of a radiator and maybe repairable by a radiator specialist (providing its a metal one and not plastic)

surely for a car that young you can just buy a new one? I can for my 205! They are also far more common, but it is worth a shot . As Welshpug was saying I got a Nissens Heater Matrix for a Pug 306 at around £40 new. |

Which usually means ££££'s and I'm too scared to ask a Toyota dealer...! Still, have a few options now, all I need to do is remove the dash! And put it back, doubt the girlfiend will be happy driving it without a dash, she's been very patient over that heap of a Corsa (which still refuses to work properly, but she does need a reasonable car, so I'll have to take time out of the Sprite to fix it. |
