	love your cars always wanted a mi16x4 could never afford it I had a mk1 405 sri freg got it when it was 6 months old had it for 20 years best car I ever had put mk2 mi16 bumpers, wheels and side trims and rear spoiler. also change the gearbox and pts front springs used it for a track day car. only sold it as I was offered a 406 friend brought it and within 6 months blew the engine up by running with no oil!!! wish I had never sold it

	Its good having someone in the tyre trade.. 5 brand new 195.55.15s fitted to the 405 balanced and tracking done. Also 2 new 185.55.15s on the 309 happy days

	really do like a nice 3 door 309, really don't see many of them now, and in many ways i think its a better car than the 205 that most people seemed to prefer. i like the little boot on the back, its like a 205+abit! I'm off to google the mi16 engine now, i remember everyone talking about them when we were all young doing the boy racer thing, but i never knew what the exhaust manifold was all about? see what i can find on the net about it

	Made a couple of changes to the 309..New wheels and some graphics. Looks a lot better. Ain't got a clue what the wheels are I just know there wide lol.

	Nice cars. My mate had a 405 SRi and I had a 205 1.9 GTi back in the 90's. Lived in France for a bit and the Rallye models were a lot more popular than here where we all bought GTi's. Really liked the look of the steel wheels on those cars, for some reason it just worked. That said those alloys on your 309 are gorgeous! Tried to buy a 205 Roland Garros last year, came in on a trade in really filthy and was going to be scrapped! A good valet later it came up like new and made £700 at auction. I was a whisker away from buying it for scrap money before the seller came to his senses.

	I have a refurbed set of rallye steels with new michelan pilot sport tyres fitted. They do look well on the 309, Just noticed some of my pics are missing from thread..Will upload them again with the steels on. Desperately need to sell the 405mi16 as my son,needs the space on his drive way.

	Some of my 309s just for you new owners Forgot to mention that .The 405 is now old to a guy on the isle of Wight. Who drove all the wy to me in Durham then filled it up with fuel and drove it All the way back to his home on the isle of Wight..without any faults .. As for the 309 I have made a few changes and will post some pics later today..
