Hello all.
I've been browsing and liking RR a lot for quite a while and not getting around to signing up, anyway, the Reliant Hybrid thread had me so annoyed that I finally got around to signing up, and by the time I could post it had been locked. Just my luck. Ive had a few Reliants including a Scimitar SE6a and a few Robins.
I thought I should make a first post somewhere so a here's a hello post.
The retro fleet at the minute is - Vauxhall Carlton GSi 24v 1991, soon to start mods for track use (and extensive repairs). Vauxhall Carlton GSi 24v 1993, standard. VW Beetle 1300 1973. UVA Fugitive 1972, shortened and raised for proper off road ability. Wolseley 12/48, 193?, beyond hope, garden ornament. Suzuki GS850 1978. Yamaha YB100, several. Selection of 70s and 80s pushbikes, mostly modified.
Oh, and for the first time in years I thought Id buy a sensible modern comfortable winter car because of the 91 GSi being off the road, I got a 2000 Jag S Type 3.0 manual, its the worst car I have ever owned, loads of worn out bits that just shouldn't be, Ive had enough of modern now.

Welcome in chap. Sounds like a nice fleet you have there except your modern (we all have had the one car we wish we didn't) That thread wound a few up. I stayed out of it deliberately. Remember we like pics

Welcome aboard! Do you have any experience with Reliant SE4s? I've been Ogling some Ogles, so to speak.

Welcome aboard! Do you have any experience with Reliant SE4s? I've been Ogling some Ogles, so to speak. None at all, sorry.
I sorted out some pics of some of the cars, I don't know if anyone is interested in the other stuff.
1993 GSi
1991 GSi, its one of the roughest examples around, I bought it sight unseen to use for spares for the red one in 2010 and couldn't bear to break it when it turned out that I had most of the bits to fix its countless faults, (and enough welding skills to fill a lot of its holes). No decent close up pics exist but I like this one.
UVA Fugitive, built from a mangled wreck a long time ago, properly registered too.
Beetle, it looks less tidy than this now due to a couple of years of neglect.
Wolseley, way beyond hope but I didn't know that when I dragged the fallen down garage off the top of it. Ive got other bits of it, I think I might make a garden planter from it.

Lol modern that jag's over 13 years old based on a Lincon probably over 30 years old knowing ford, no wounder jag were not having a leaving party when it was finaly axed. Mind you one day when there all only 3 left on the planet they will still be worth fook all!!
