I have bought a bmw m30 engine on ebay which needs lifting and securing onto a pallet at the sellers home in Edinburgh. There is a gearbox as well which is seperated from the engine.
I had contacted the seller previously to see if he could pallet it for me to arrange a courier, but unfortunately had no reply so i took a chance and bid. It turns out he does not have an engine crane so cannot move it (its a heavy 6 pot lump). I don't think he will have a pallet about either so it will mean picking one up beforehand.
Is that something anyone is able to help with? I know its an awkward one, but its worth an ask before i give up on the idea!
