	Okay... i'm finally just about getting round to refurbing my alloy wheels. I'm having the tyres removed tomorrow so I can get sanding, and then I'm going to paint them gloss black. What grade wet and dry should I use to rub down the old silver paint? Is there a special primer I need to prime alloys? How much primer / paint am I likely to need for 5 wheels? How vital is laquer? 	one of the big uns dust on a bit of primer just to get it going. then after thats had 5 or ten minutes give it a half decent coat. another few minutes another good coat, then leave to dry. then wet and dry it with a high grit. then a good coat and leave to dry then repeat that for the actual paint then again for the laquer peice of piz just remember to prep it well otherwise it'll show

	Is that just ordinary primer or is there some special primer needed?

	nah just piz weak primer will do unless they're for a show car or something i always use cheapo primer and ive never had any problems
