Spotted this parked up the road from my workshop yesterday. Its not usually i'll stop and take pics of a motor but this was so clean it literally stopped me in my tracks. There cant be many of these left like this. 50,000 genuine, all old mots, not a spot of rust on it anywhere. I even went off and tracked down the guy who owned it and asked how much it is, he said he was asking a grand but his exact words to me were 'If you had money in your pocket now you could take it away for £800' Someone has to buy this beast before some curse word ships it off to nigeria to spend the rest of its days as a taxi. I'd have it at the drop of a hat but i don't have the money or the space. I've got the guys number so if anyones interested pm me.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

With the leftover cash you could get some serious rimmage on it ;D I would really hate to see this end up getting exported, which is probably what'll happen to it. When i was working in the breakers we used to get a grand for these even with bits hanging off and no engines.

I wish it would just go away. I was looking to replace the 'Transit thing' at the end of last year, which is how I ended up with the T-5, which does it's job too well to be replaced. I really want this van, but I want to remain married more! In your conversation with the owner did he strike you as someone who would like a Cressida? If you see him again, take a picture of the Cressy with you and ask about a deal.

thats cool as funk. Just needs altitude and rims really. A mate of mine had the camper version resently. I'll shove photos up later.

Consensus in the Pog household last night was that it is cool! Rare approval from 'Er Indoors!!!! Just a shame we are as poor as church mice at the minute.
