Hi folks I am looking for a supplier for fittings to go on the end of a bowden control cable which operates the heater valve on my mk2 Jag. I'm not sure what type of fitting I need, so a cooperative supplier - or an old fashioned shop (in the South East) would be useful. Any suggestions? cheers Cortinaman

Hi Cortinaman,
Try Speedy Cables (www.speedycables.com) or 01639 732213. They used to be based in London but are now in Swansea. I used them in the past for a LT77 gearbox to Manta speedo ferrule for my V8 conversion. They also advertise in Custom Car magazine.
Regards, Pete

Any proper old school motorcycle shop should have most fittings on the shelf for making up your own cables.

Thanks for the pointers chaps. I'll give speedy cables a try - and there is a motorbike shop down the road from work which has been there for about 60 years - so I'll give them a go as well.
