had these pics taken today with a decent camera rather than my crappy phone . so here she is as it appears in flesh . many people on various forums commented on the yellow headlights idea good or bad (no hard feelings ) i personally want to know what you people think HONESTLY !!! but bare in mind this car is going to be a daily driver not a show ,track or etc car . so what would you feel if you seen something with these headlights driving around in town ??

Personally I think they might work if the car was a different colour, black maybe? I reckon you'll get pulled a lot too.
Sorry ;D You did ask for an honest opinion.

I like it could you black the red trim strip? red and yellow together doesn't suit so well. yellow lights, white car and wheels looks good, black would make the headligths an eyesore IMO, whites more un-fussy

I just love the old skool french look! I reckon it'd look a shed load better if you just had yella bulbs & clear h'lights!

Also, they don't have the dark yella tints of the fog/spots....
Pity

Match the fogs FTW. Have you stuck something on them? It looks like you've made the glass more translucent. Can you dye it instead?

I like, but I agree the red trim strip could do with removing/re-colouring black.

I like the yellow, but (like odin says) they need to match the fogs more.

looks like a clearer yellow(matching the fogs) is on the win by far to my surprise so how about getting the headlights back to clear and coating them with yellow tint film like this ?? the only problem with that is the indicators as they have not got a flat/even surface that allows me to coat them with the film

If I saw that driving around town, which was your original question, I`d be pleased to see a tidy, well presented R9 and I`d like what you`d done with the lights. Personally if something looks pretty good on a daily driver I wont spend hours making it perfect because its only a matter of time before some idiot bumps you on the very spot you`ve strived to make perfect anyway.
I`d say its good to go as it is but a clearer yellow wouldnt hurt.
