I saw a friend at the weekend who has got this 205. as you can see from the pictures its had a punt up the backside and is a cat B write off. it drives fine and was driving fine before the accident. My friend used it as his commuting car into birmingham city centre. its an automatic but has the desirable auto bulge bonnet. Overall the car is very clean and honest but has been standing for 3 months (real shame as the paint is pretty good). it would start with a decent battery. My friend had found a buyer but the buyer never came to pay/collect, so i said i would post it on RR. if you are interested, pm me and i can forward you contact details. offer on £300 for the car or he may sell the bonnet separately for a decent offer ![](http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb291/maph2/sale/DSC_0402_zps3263e6e2.jpg) ![](http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb291/maph2/sale/DSC_0401_zpsc6496a2d.jpg) ![](http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/bb291/maph2/sale/DSC_0400_zps37f4f609.jpg) cheers matt

Cat c or d at the most, b wouldnt be still parked there.
Auto bonnet fad has peetered out too, since most have realised the hump is in the wrong place for twin carbs or bodies on an xu

That's a shame. I've had an auto 205 and they are brilliant to drive, 1600 engine punts them along at a fair old rate and being a four-speed they still do 40-odd mpg as well.
If it had been a 3dr then it would have been worth pimping across the rally forums as even sunroofed shells still find buyers. As it is it's probably going to end up going over the Bridge of Death.

As it is it's probably going to end up going over the Bridge of Death. Bring a Cat B (if it is, of course) the DVLA will send the boys in blue to your front door if you try to register it, MOT it, drive it, etc etc. Cat B is for parts only.

That's weird for a Cat B! Damage seems superficial?

If you look at the last pic it looks like the rear quarter could be pushed back a bit going by the door shut gap, could just be the angle mind but I shouldn't imagine these take much of a shunt to go all wobbly. Any chassis twist would put it in cat B no? Their light weight comes at a cost, great cars mind and if it does indeed turn out to be a C or D then I hope someone buys it and kicks it back into shape.
