ive just sold my viva drag car shell and so i have a big block ford v8 which is going in my sd1... i was thinking matt black top with lower half satin. jag xj6 steelies 10" on the back and 8" on the front with scew on arches lowwwww. stripped interior.. half cage.. rear window loovre (sexy!) and with rear door handles shaved maybe make it pillerless to make it look coupe-like heres a pic i like:  but has anyone got any more couped lowered or prostreet ish pics of sd1's?? i cant find many ........ si |

I had a satin black one in the late 80's was good fun, sorry no photos of it though.

4 doors? are they just smoothed? looks like it has been shortened though. id love to shorten mine but with an sva needed then i think i will just gut and smooth the rear doors.. interested in the cage though, PM'd si |

Shortened 2 door SD1s werent that uncommon on the rally scene in the `80s/early `90s. Doubt there`ll be any of them left now and I`m not really that surprised that X-reg one has gone to the garage upstairs.
