Where can I find used con-rods?

	I'm planning on making a few random bits of furniture using con-rods as a mounting bracket. Buying new ones for the task would just be silly and expensive. I'd like to find ones that have been replaced during an engine rebuild, so they have no re-sale value, although I suspect not many rebuilds require new con-rods. Anyone have any ideas?

	A wanted ad on here would probably get you some, I've got a set of 4 from a ca18det sat on my scrap pile you could have for price of postage.

	How big do you want? I've got some from 1930's/40's diesel engines. Probably around 10-12" in length

	Very good point Damien! I'll post an ad shortly. I would definately be interested in the con rods you have. I'll send you a PM Mr Speedy, not the sort of size I had in mind, but it has got me thinking and I may get back to you on that.
