The Octavia got picked up on Wednesday night.
I then suffered 1970's standard rail travel for two days, then today I got a modern Virgin "Poncherello" (or something) train and went to pick up the Rangie.
"Idles rough but will idle lumpy when warmed, but great on a run" on LPG equates to "It doesn't idle but I won't admit it". Does go well on a run though, just don't stop or it will die.
Install is a bit traveller, looks like the petrol cut off solenoid has been replaced with a set of toggles switches that you need to switch as you go back and fourth.
Not heard of Kar-gas LPG regulator but that is what is fitted.
First job is replace the plugs, cap and leads and see how it runs then.
Top tailgate only locks on one side, the rotten side.
Bottom tailgate is solid.
With the big lift, steering is a bit heavy and doesn't self centre, and the wheel is dragging against the plastic surround, so I need to sort that because it actually binds the wheel and makes it less than easy to turn it quickly.
Leather is OK, but needs a feed, electric works on the leather seats.
Front windows work, rears don't, sunroof tilts, but doesn't slide.
Rear top tailgate is shagged, and I would probably need to replace the two diddy LPG tanks with a decent sized single one once the install is performing.
Needs a stereo. V8 is nice, but not all the time. I want V8+
