	Just to intoduce myself! I'm Emma, currently in bolton driving a 1980 Austin Morris Mini 1000. Much planned for it, already put on some 10" Dunlop D1s, getting a respray in Kandy Violet when i've sorted all the body work (usual bits of rust and a bad front end job by previous owner). Attemtping to design and a build a 1.5 V6 for it based on the standard Austin engine. That's us

	Of course ;D As he stands now ... Not the original seats and wheel, they're sat in my lounge because i'm really short and the seats weren't high enough padded wise for me to see past the end of bonnet! and the original wheel was too big to handle! (excuse the smashed glass. got broken into but its the only pic i've got of inside) and you can just see my old car (Panda!) ------------------------------------- I've only ever had old cars... 3 mini's now, 1 MK2 Fiesta and a Panda.

	Welcome to R-R Emma! Someone did a 3cyl Daihatsu diseasel conversion back in the early 90's....I think it was in one of the first, if not THE first issue of MiniWorld. Oh yeah....D1's rock, my favourite Mini rim!

	Yeah I'm loving the idea of a one-off engine, 1.5 V6 sounds mad. I thought those Mazda 1.8 V6s were small! Did you say it was diesel or it it just chinese whispers, picked up since you said your bloke built diesel engines?

	Come to think of it, back in the early 90's I remember seeing a company in Nottingham that did a diesel conversion on the A-Series. I don't remember the details as I was only a kid but I'm sure they used the original Mini engine!

	It won't be a diesel... i think that was a chinese whisper cheers for such a warm welcome! Yeah maybe a V6 will be crazy... but ferrari once made a 1.5 V6 for formula 2 so i reckon it should be a lot of fun! It will be aluminium too, so no waste of power due to extra weight. I am LOVING the manifesto, so many gorgeous cars!
