Pele, our 1976 Imp has just passed her MOT... sat for 12 months doing nothing, so we changed the tyres, replaced a bulb and took her in to see what she needed doing.... and she blinkin passed first time with an advisory on a slightly iffy handbrake. To say I'm pleased (and amazed) is an understatement! ;D ;D ;D ;D  ;D |

Mine just failed after 6 months of hard spannering, £££, fabrication and making sure everything was ok. To say I'm ****ed off is an understatement.
Good to see yours get through though.

happened the same way when i picked up my carlton, been stood for god knows how long. got it started drove to test centre, got staright in and passed first time. then popped its head gasket the day later. carefull now and check your coolant lol

First drive for about a year... slightly floppy clutch pedal (new seals needed methinks) and a bit more tappet noise than I remembered (oil change hopefully)... otherwise perfect! Piccy proof FTW!!  |
