I apologise if this is in the wrong section, I'm new to the forum and haven't really got my head round what goes where yet 
As per the title, what owners clubs can people recommend? Or any other useful sources of information and vendors of standard and tuning parts?
Ive just bought a mk3. Ive done the obvious google searches but haven't turned up too much. The owners clubs which I have found have forums that require paid up membership to access some of or all parts. I'm reluctant to pay for membership when I can see that in most sections of these forums the most recent posts have been made years ago, with only 1 or 2 in the last 12 months. I don't mind paying for membership of an active club. Perhaps some of these forums have sections which are not even visible to the public, but I don't wish to find out the hard way that they don't.
One last question, anybody know the owner of the car below? Or is there a build thread anywhere?
