dave Vs barcoat

well it didn't go to badly, although in fairness it didn't go to well. the car started off looking like;



so a bit of 100, 240 then 400wet followed by some panel wipe and tak rags ment i could start painting.

m plan was to bar coat the bonnet and front wings, then move down the car undercoating it all in one go.

ive never sprayed before, how badly could it go?

my first problem was after filling the gun up. i put the gun lid into the tin of barcoat. i decided to spray on lidless, but gave up after spilling it over the floor. note how the barcoat is everywhere but in the tin.



then when i sprayed it the gun spat out chunks and the nozzel got blocked, I'm guessing this is cause ive not stirred it enough, the lumps are jelly like. also it seems to shoot slightly to the right.

anyway, after i sprayed it she looked a bit like

then i took the newspaper off.

also what ive not spilt on the floor seems to be oh so slightly translucant.

ive so far used 1L of the stuff. I'm going to get 2L more tomorrow.

any advice?
