Since we all love a car related quiz - can anyone identify this handle.....  It's in Talbot packaging, but the labels not especially readable, but I think it's 7**292*6(* being the numbers you can't ready but to guess it would be 73029206) and description Handle Rear Dr. First thoughts were Avenger Estate tailgate lock, or Hunter Estate but they seem to have a round mount not the elliptical one that this has. I'm stumped,so any suggestions greatly apprciated.Many thanks to all! |

Earlier than the Avenger or Hunter, it looks like the handle for the upper half of the split tailgate for either the Hillman Minx or Singer Vogue Estate . . . surprised that it's in Talbot packaging though . . .  |

Thanks guys,I'm leaning towards the Commer PB Rear end door,they definitely look to have the eliptical mounting and would link to Talbot era so think it's a good bet!

Another identification query, a headlamp this time - was sure this was a Mk3 Capri unit but not sure now - so was thinking Alfa Romeo GTV6.  The backing/mounting plate is Carello 07.657.007 and both lamps are 5 3/4" diameter units. All suggestions welcome. Many thanks all. |

No, it's not off an Imp. The hatch release is a button on the body and a simple fixed handle on the frame.
