The car was wet when these pictures were taken! I am reluctantly selling my MGF - I bought it at the end of June this year as I needed a car to drive to my new job. Unfortunately I am quite big and do not fit comfortably in the car. It would be fine for odd drives but not for daily 40 mile round trips!
The body is in average condition for a car of this age. It is pearlescent Tahiti Blue which looks lovely when shining in the sun. Unfortunately someone has spilt something on the boot lid at some point and damaged the finish (see pics). The bootlid really needs respraying (about £70) if it bothers you.
The hood is in very good condition and does not leak.
The alloy wheels are all in very good condition and they all have Continental tyres with plenty of life left in them.
The main reason I bought this car was for the mechanical state of it. The engine is an absolute beauty that has been well looked after. It sounds lovely and has lots of pull. I have never driven a car which handles as well as an MGF and this is by no means my first sports car! The all important Head Gasket has been done at some point in the past. I know because of the colour of coolant. The engine cooling system was pressure tested earlier this year and there are no cooling leaks. She has used no oil in the time I have owned her.
The tax on this can will not be included in the selling price! I will however sell it to the winner for the price of 6 months tax, that would give you 2 months free!
Any questions please feel free to ask.
Any viewing is welcome.
I need to replace her with the proceeds. I am looking for a 4x4 or estate car ideally, preferably diesel. SWAP/WHY?
