Hi everyone! I wonder if any of you lovely people would be able to help me? I am after a set of wheels for my micra and all I can think to get is a set of banded steels. Now, as it's quite evident, I lack much imagination as quite a few micras are rolling around on banded steels. So my question is, in your own opinions, other than banded steels, what wheels do you think would suit my k11? My budget is £400 max and I don't want to go bigger than 14" And this is just an enquiry at the moment as I haven't been paid yet  So cheers guys! And fire away!  |

That's a nice budget to find something. 14" second hand wheels are in general quite cheap, although the Micra needs 165/60R14 tyres which a little bit harder to find. There are quite a few OEM BMW, Renault and VW alloys that looks allright on a Micra. The only issue is that most of them need a bored out centre bore to fit on to the Micra. I was looking at BMW cross spokes, 5gt turbo alloys and ATS classics, but I ended by accident with some unknown aftermarket alloys:  These only costed me around 230 euros with proper size 2nd hand tyres. So just have a peak in a lucky dip and end up with something unique. |

Thanks for the reply I quite like the idea of trial fitting as many different wheels as I can and seeing what wheels I like the look of:) Only problem is... I don't know anybody with wheels to try out! Haha |

£400! my car and wheels combined cost less than £400!

These might just have to be purchased! Thank you so much for your help/inspiration guys! and I'm sorry if I shocked you with my budget mark, I have no real connections within the modified car scene, or within ANY car scene for that matter, so I don't really get to hear of many good deals on cars or wheels etc... Plus I hardly ever ever drink, I don't smoke and my only other commitment is my wonderful lady, so I think I deserve to splurge on my car from time to time haha. |
