	Hi, I have brought a Chevy V8 diesel engine, 350d. I am trying to find out whether I can make it fit in my Toyota Hillux which I think the American version is a Toyota T100, but a 1985 model, which has front leaf-springs. I was wondering if anybody can help with a fly wheel housing or any information to help me to match the engine to my gear box, but the engine came out of a boat and the start motor bolts on to the engine block. Can anybody help? Kev (From England)

	Check out Dellow Automotive, they are in Australia bu they are a pleasure to deal with and make kits to fit all sorts of engines onto various Toyota gearboxes. I bought a kit off them and found them easier to deal with over the phone rather than e-mails. Worth doing a bit of research on your engine as well, things got very complicated in the 70's and 80's with Chevy engines fitted to other GM vehicles, but Oldsmobile and Buick engines fitted into other vehicles as well. What I'm getting at with my rambling is that your engine will most likely have either the Chevy bellhousing pattern or what is known as the BOP (Buick, Olds, Pontiac) bellhousing pattern. Thats also assuming that the diesels share the bellhousing pattern with the petrol engines. www.dellowauto.com.au/ Sean
