ive got to barcoat, undercoat then paint. but; at the top of the wall where it meets the roof theres a gap. this is about a foot above me (6ft) and an outstreched arm. the wall is about 10meters away from the car. so the question is, will i get paint on the car the other side of the wall? bear in mind its my dads pride and joy. he seems to think it'll be alright. ta.

you will have some form of ventilation, right? All the paint in air suspension should go in the direction of the air flow out of the "booth" and the paint will settle out as dusty overspray on everything in its path to that source of freedom.
I might feel moved to chuck a dust sheet over dad's pride & joy just to keep the dust off it.

is it two-pack or cellulose? because two pack cures chemically it tends to stick worse than cellulose which is just dust once it's travelled more than a couple of feet in the air. Both might get on the car, but the cellulose will just dust off...

You'd be suprised at how far/where certain oversprays can reach!
