had these two brain storms for making a fortune selling tat to chavs!
1. Coloured alloy wheel inserts. Strips of coloured metallic material (like balancing weights) that you colour match to your car and stick around the inset of the wheel rim, after cutting to size. either sticky or magnetic
2. Instant low profile tyres. Plastic wheel trims that clip onto the wheels but the plastic cover is an inch or so greater diameter than the wheel (flange of somesuch), so that an inch of so of sidewall is covered up.
i do ideas me!!

Wouldn't the taller trims cut into the tyres as they "give" in the sidewalls under cornering. This could have some pretty scary consequences:o
Oh, if you look at it another way, if you are selling them to neds, that may not be a bad thing.... ;D

That actually looks OK at first glance. err how do they fit on as the 15" clips would be in the wrong place (diameter wise)?

I gather the clips are somehow re-positioned? Though I'd have thought that'd be a little difficult strength wise........

I like long walks, especially when they're taken by people I don't like.

I've seen some wheel covers that bolt on using the regular wheel nuts (mine do). They just have to find the right bolt pattern.

Americans have been making "fake" flexible rubber whitewalls that slide down by the bead and extend up the sidewall for running modern tyres on 50's restos and rods, to give them the authentic 50's look.
