the cab is steel - its a massively modified 64 (check the pic of the 'spec' board) if you are saying cars with repro parts arent really vw's then that goes for MANY VW's, not just waynes but thats not the point. Its a VW as much as any other VW/AE drag car is. exactly! a large chunk of pro vw has little or no vw parts in them apart from some fibreglass bodyshell shape....maybe. the jacksons proteus dragster would be one car, kens razor would be another wouldnt it? tashs bug had a little bit of vw left in it? the dashboard wasnt it..... |

i must admit, the fact that that is a genuine cut down cab is very very impressive.
and the whole thing is jaw dropping. its just unreal.
the V8 is just a little un-VW...

As i said, ive not seen the car. If its a steel cab then yes, i'd say its still a VW.
I'm not saying VW's with repro parts arent VW's, i was just trying to find out what ORIGIONAL vw parts are left on it.
Origional sheet metal is good enough for me ;D

tashs bug had a little bit of vw left in it? the dashboard wasnt it..... tashas is a vw 'body', but with a split rear window grafted in. The rear wings back are 'glass or ali, and the flip front is 'glass. The dash was one of the items that didnt survive, thats ali too. |
