As much as I like it I can't help thinking I have seen that face before! Do you think someone from BL was on holiday in Detroit in the late '60s?

Lovely. Admit I don't really like the inappropriate curves of the front seats & steering wheel & the naff looking faux-riveted 'vents' replacing the side markerlights, but that engine bay, headlights allowing relocated grille indicators, rear bumper 'diffuser' vents & especially the perfect wheels & 'knock-off' spinners. Very nice!

I flipping love it, although it seems stuck between styles (not necessarily a problem...)
It looks like it's been faux patina'd in places, yet has massive modern wheels and fugly steering wheel. The amount of work that's gone in, should be proud to be shiny, or a proper 60's stock car replica IMHO

You see a fair few American muscle cars done in this 'new meets old' style. An old crate with a more modern V8, modern wheels, lights, brakes, suspension, interior touches, aero bodywork. They normally look great, and I'm yet to see one posted on here that I really don't like. This one, however, is absolutely perfect in my eyes. I love everything about it, the shape of the original car, the slightly patinated paint, and the colour scheme. The modern touches look great, and are so well chosen, inside and out. For me, it's a near perfect balance of old, new, and totally badass. Thanks so much for sharing, that's made my morning

Thanks so much for sharing, that's made my morning It's called Pro Touring, popular treatment on 1st Gen Camaros and 65-70 Mustangs, normally i don't like it, even though a well built Pro Touring Muscle car will drive and go round corners better than an original. But, i love everything about this Valiant, the interior is superb, colour, stance, attitude, standard of build looks superb, like you i also love the patina, hope the builder is'nt planning on painting it.
