Was up on ebay but timewasters prevail as ever. Need it out the way because a) too many cars here, and b) no monies. Don't want to strip it and scrap it so here it is. Here's what I posted on the listing. Hi all. This auction is for an Allegro '3' With mk2 bumpers and grill. 85K ish. 1300 engine fitted that's done approx. 20K less than the car. I've done several thousand miles in this car without a problem, merely occasionally topping up fluids. However now it needs some love and attention which I don't have the time for at the minute. The good: Runs quite nice, isn't massively rotten. Hydrogas suspension hasn't leaked during my ownership Very good (If oversize!) battery fitted 4x very good 'Event' tyres fitted, spare is different make but new not long ago! The bad: Brake disks slightly warped Knocking from N/S front suspension MOT & Tax out this month O/S/R door rotted through at the bottom completely, easier to replace than repair Crusty bits and/or small holes on sills, lower rear quarters, wheelarches Front wings have 'gone through' at the front, inner wings need repair where they meet the front panel. Side exit exhaust fitted, no longer attached to the downpipe anymore so it's only attached to the car via the spare wheel strap. Uses a little oil (top up every few weeks even when using it everday) Radiator leaks (Not massively, just topped up now and again), will throw in an earlier style one if the buyer requires. Vanden plas interior not included, there will be a fairly pleasant black vinyl one present instead. Rear fogs and roofrack also not up for grabs.

I can vouch for this having driven it around the field at RR13, hope it goes to a good home electric tape pin striping and all it's definitely worth the money.

Same guy who tried to chip a tenner off a £60 taxed and tested metro, you've got to laugh really. Anyway GLWTS justanotherhigh, it's priced cheap enough as it is (esp considering the 1275 A series in the front!)

Realistically, any welding needed for the MOT? Depends on your tester - personally I think you'd need a couple of patches on the sills, and the front wings might need re-attaching to the front panel. Had an offer of £200 off a mate - if you can do better then hot foot it round here! ;D

Sorry, you're still taking the p*ss. It's hilarious you think a £250 car is 'worth a haggle.'
And wanting money knocked off because you've had to travel is the biggest load of nonsense ever. And people always, always try it with me and get shown the door. If you want the car, you go to where it is. You cannot expect money knocked off for that.
I mean, f*ck me, a £250 car.........that has faults! Unbelievable! You're the sort who'd want the thing fully valeted and gleaming and then whinge when it wasn't.
Look at it again. ITS A TAXED AND TESTED ALLEGRO FOR TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY QUID. WTF do you want you tight sod?
