Hi guys, not really want to sell this, after a lot of work just gone into it.....but I really fancy a 21 turbo for some strange reason...you know,one of those "spur of the moment thingy" lmao...
Its a L plate,1993 model with 98k miles....bit of service history, and car had private reg earlier in its life....
I overpayed for it, and once got it home, was shocked at what I bought....it was rough, underneath, still....
But all the work has been done....
Both new sill have been done.(fully wax oiled inside and out).
New windscreen
All four arches painted white.
caliper's ,hubs,suspension arms, etc repainted.
Newish vented/grooved discs all round,(green stuff pads up front)
Goodridge brake lines x4
Near full stainless (cat not removed)steel rear box.
Good tyres all round,wheels repainted,new wheel nuts.
Better Rare interior fitted.
Engine bay painted,list goes on!!
Now I didn't want a minter, and so a 4 month quick clean up and refurb has transformed the little thing....
Mechanically its fine, engine starts straight away ,and stay on choke for a few minutes....oil light flickers when warm, but I believe this is the switch, and I will get round to fitting a new one....New oil and filter,but could benefit from a full service,i.e cambelt and plugs/leads,as I don't know the history on them..
I drove it 500 miles from Scotland when I bought it,and it was loud,and a near death trap....now its quiet,and drives so much nicer and tighter!!!...
Original stickers have been re-applied,and ive nearly got the standard spec look....
Car looks good in pictures,but please remember its 20 years old,and not perfect...could also benefit from a mop/polish,as it has some red overspray up close,and the roof has a few ripples (remember there are no metal in these!!) These little buggers fly,and are so rare to see now....the mini boys are starting to use the motors in there cars,due to power to weight!!
