As the 1 ltr that is in my 72 mini has gone bang I’ve decided to go back to the original 850 block. I have lifted the engine before and that was hassle so I thought id try the other way, and drop the sub frame out the bottom, has any one done this?? How simple is it and is there any specialist tool/ problems that I mite occurred??
Oo while the sub frame is out is it worth painting it?? To protect it from rust?? If soo what have people used?
While I am here, what engines mods have people ran on the 850s?
I think I read somewhere that twin 1 ¼ run well but I cant remember, so any advice for my engine??
