I have a bumper I need to post and the length is 1800mm. It doesnt weigh much but I cant find a delivery firm that will take it. They are all saying 1500 max. Has anyone got any recommendations other than sticking it on a pallet as that is gonna cost around 50 bar so its not worth sending.

i always do mine through the post office - i posted a full maxi sill to Ireland without any bother - from my local post office (even though the website says max one metre - or something )
my advice is parcel it up and take to a SMALL LOCAL post office - not a towncentre large one, as they may refuse - should cost about 7.70 - 8.50

ANC also delivered my Audi 90 bumper, which is pretty darn long especially as it was in full VAG packaging. Think the seller paid £9.50 for postage.
