my mate has a small hatchback and wants a ice install so we going to make a stealth shelf to support 2 small amps and a pair of 6x9s now his wife is okay with this as long as she can take the shelf out for shopping etc. so where can we get a simple connecter for all the wires so the shelf is easy to remove? cheers

Just go the scrappy and cut out both ends of a loom multiplug with sufficient wires for what you need , job done

bit of advice regarding the amps, make sure they are suitable for mounting upside down if you are planning to fit them to the shelf. Amps with on-board cooling fans should be ok, but some amps won't like being upside down as all the heat given off by the amplifier chips will cook the circuit board and won't do much for the amp chips either. As for the connections I would use an xlr connector for the speakers (not required if you are mounting the amps on the shelf along with the speakers) and a powercon connector (http://www.neutrik.com/en/audio/powercon/) for the power cables. The phono cables should be easy enough to just pull off the amplifier.
