1958 Morris Oxford Series III
You don's see many of these on the road - I had great plans for this beauty but I just don't get the time to use it.
The previous owner replaced the original engine & box with a 'PEUGEOT DIESEL LUMP', although it's a shame the original engine has been replaced it does make this quite the practical classic!
Starts on the button! (well, the original pull knob). It has been wired in with a key ignition and uses the original fuel tank.
Other than that this 1958 Oxford is original
It has a tow bar with electrics - previous owner used to tow a big boat with ease!
I have some deep dish steels that will be included with the sale, they fit great - just need some new rubber.
Body work is solid but cosmetically it has had a roller paint job so its no show winner yet....
It is a 1958 car that has been used and not sat in a bran its whole life - so I'm not going to say its mint by any means, just a decent base to start tinkering with and usable as is..
Cost me just £75 a year insurance!
TAX - exempt (runs out next year)
MOT - exempt (ran out a few months ago but as pre 60's no MOT required)
