hi guys really odd question but my 1995 corsa has a slight hiccup, when at say 70/80 on the motroway in 5th sometimes the high beam light will flicker on and off on my dash panel and the high beams themselves obviously flicker, i really found this extremely odd, could it be a duff stalk?! anyone else expreienced and rectified this?!
seriously baffled! :/

Could be a duff stalk but it would happen at varying sppeds not just 70/80. Some Corsas suffer from a wire loom fault behind the dash display, corroded terminals or muti-plugs I believe and the speedos are electronic so that could be triggering the lights, so its worth checking that out. You would possibly get more info on a Corsa Owner forum.

Does the full-beam warning lamp ever come on very dimly when you've just got the dipped beams on? Before anything I'd be checking the lights earths and cleaning up any plugs, it could just be a vibration in a connection where something's finding a resonance at those speeds, and a connections vibrating off/on.

Yup - as above. I work on a shedload of Corsas and so far that problem has been the stalk every time. They're cheap so replace it with a new one.
You can try taking it to bits - but you'll soon wish you hadn't!
