I have my Mk2 Roadster for sale in Racing Bronze.
For those who don't know there MX-5's this is the sort after 6 speed RS import "Roadster" with Bilstein suspension, LSD, strut brace, extra under bracing. Comes also with power windows, power mirrors, air con (fully working) and the extra option of ABS.
As extras go this one is pretty standard engine wise, so never been messed around as most have been. Upgrades have been done on the interior with a complete Mk2.5 Brown Sienna leather interior which include seats, door cards, steering wheel and tonneau cover. Other interior features are an Alpine Bluetooth CD/radio head unit incoporating hands free phone calling and USB connection coupled to a Mazda sound board for the rear. This is installed on a Mazda style bar incorporating a removeable windblocker.
Work completed very recently which included a proper brake strip/adjust oils/filter changed using genuine Mazda parts and Castrol oils to engine, gearbox and diff. I've also recently treated the undersides where needed (mainly wishbones and subframes) to a coating of Dinitrol (see pics) and must stress there is no rust/rot on the chassis, sills, or wheel arches. The favourite rust prones areas as mentioned on these are the rear sills, rear wheel arches, and front chassis rails, this one is rust free.
The bodywork is in excellent condition having been pampered in my ownership with regular washing, polish/waxing. As can be seen the exterior has a number of chrome (blingy) additions which are tasteful rather than OTT. The alloys are shod in Rainsport 2's all have equal tread around 6-7mm having covered very little mileage since fitting last year. The alloys themselves have no kerbing and are in excellent condition.
I fitted a mohair hood hood last year as the original was showing it's age mainly fading on the inside, the mohair is watertight and treated with Autoglym hood products.
I've just fitted a new stainless steel back box worth £199, it's been on the car for around 300 miles.
Over 4 months tax, 10 months MOT, the last two MOT's with no advisories and just under 59k on the clock.
Imported in 2008 by the previous owner and only used on the UK roads since around 2010. I bought the car in 2012 and used the car on dry days only and it's always been garaged. I've just bought myself a Mk3 MX-5 so this one has to go as I don't have the garage space to keep it. A very reluctant sale.
Price £2750
