Hey everyone I"m a retro car man from the midlands in Ireland I have a car breakers yard so thats what i do for a living. Drive a few defenders during the week,a 90 county And a 110 lifted with big wheels And whinch Recently picked up a 911sc targa needing a bit of tlc And a 500sec mercruiser,so will be doing a bit of fettling there so might start a tread on them
I'm kind of a retro everything fan,I have a couple of older bikes too if anyones into them on here, 87" gsxr1100 hyper 91" gsxr1100 blue-White 91" gsxr1100 red-black 80" kawasaki z1r 99" suzuki tl1000r x2
Thats All i can say for the minute ,this may be in the wrong section ha

Not really because we kind of have to stay mainstream, Recently had a senator 3.0 cdx 93 in,sold the 24v engine, not another bolt went,a 92 mr2 came in,sold it complete,a lovely clean mk3 gti golf that Broke very well Have a lot of defenders broke
The problem with breaking retros And Classics ist that 9 times out of ten unlike regular cars And vans the owners are not stuck for the part on the day And can wait for cheaper part or Better quality etc,if an owner needs a bit for his work van well thats gona take priority init?
On the other hand buying an older veichle, some Parts are rare And worth good money but its a waiting game too

I see you have 2 TL1000Rs, don't suppose you have a headlight/instrument short loom spare?

Welcome along, a few of us here but not many from the midlands I don't think. Hard to beat a defender, nice when you have a few spare too I suppose ?
