i've been looking at units in Doncaster lately to begin what in my head will be an awesome experience.
I want to create a place that is many things to its members, a suitable storage area, a workshop, but mostly a hangout where crazy projects go from dream to reality (or the scrap man depending how fed up you get
)
where like minded folk can work on whatever project they have going on, be it car/bike/push iron/ride on mower, sharing ideas along the way
a place you can spend all day at or just call after work to tinker with your ride before going home for tea
I think i've found such a place, it offers basic outdoor storage, secure outdoor storage or for those more precious rides, secure indoor storage. its surrounded by two reputable companies who have been in the estate for a good while now.
Surrounding facilities are great with three supermarkets a minute or two away, fast food joints at the end of the road and its only a few minutes from a motorway junction
i'm only just dipping my toe here so basic sums are all I have at the moment but on common sense alone i'm thinking rough prices as follows
basic outdoor storage in the unit car park, no access to the tools/power inside - £50pcm
outdoor secure storage as above £70 pcm
outdoor secure storage with access to tools/power - £90 pcm
indoor secure storage with access to tools/power - £110 pcm
This post is really to just to gauge GENUINE interest before i get really excited and sign any contracts then realise no one is bothered :lol:
as said in my head this will become a trusted homely place, a cool setting for petrolheads to hangout.
think the varied rides of Retro Rides, the community spirit and banter of Vzi with a big slab of Rods n Sods Americana on top
