Worst thing about those arches is that someone who owned the car after me binned them! BTW there is a guy who sells plug and play upgraded looms for £35. You struggle to diy make one for that price. They look good well made too. They really are a must have upgrade especially with winter knocking on the door www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=306266&page=3#entry2580713

Mark: RA's would definitely interest me, I'm down in Bournemouth. I'm heading to London next Saturday. Don't mind travelling a sensible distance though. I'm a bit further up the road than London, Central Scotland They are sound wheels though, straight, unkerbed, would'nt be wanting much for them as they are needing tyres, painted, and the centre caps are missing. Maybe the RR pony express could help out ?

Cheers Andy!
Thanks for that Jon, will definitely have to invest in a loom. Got a quick question, have you experienced the poloace 8k chip and is it any good? How does it perform on a standard car? I think it needs the chip to open it up more as the car feels like it's holding back.
Little update with pictures to follow, got a OE under bonnet sound proofing which is a very rare option for these cars. Also got a pair of MK2 Derby Formula E wing mirrors which are a different design to my current mirrors (more rectangle and don't stick out like Mickey mouse ears) These are also extremely rare and the ones I have are 'new old stock' so are brand new and never fitted to a car.
Pictures tomorrow.

Yeah the poloace chips are good. The guy who used to do them (alan) was/is a top bloke. A real polo enthusiast.
