Having just finished building this, it’s far too clean for me to keep and I don’t want to ruin it so it’s going up for sale.
It’s a 1996 factory vento vr6, believed to be and ex VW demonstrator car.
Body :
It’s just been treated to a full repaint in the rare factory fjord blue mica, the body as arrow straight and has a host of subtle body mods as follows :- shaved washers jets, shaved side repeaters, de-badged bootlid, shaved exhaust cut out, shaved towing eye, mk 3.5 cabrio wing mirrors, arches fully rolled and pulled, fully colour coded and delocked (except drivers door as a fail safe) custom tail-lights with orange tinted uppers to clean up the rear and custom number plates with no postcodes or any other rubbish on.
Interior:
Complete and extremely rare gti edition recaro interior with matching blue trim in immaculate condition, no burns or bolster wear, mk 3.5 cabrio dimpled dash conversion and matching gti edition clocks, mk4 gti leather steering wheel, fully working digital climatronic, us spec centre console, black headlining and pillar trims, tilt and slide electric sunroof, 4x electric windows (passenger rear not currently working)
Engine:
Obd2 2.8 vr6 showing 181k on the clocks (was rebuilt at 160) no timing chain rattles or smoke or dodgy coilpacks, silky smooth and pulls hard. Aftermarket air filter, 6 branch stainless manifold, decat and full stainless system with custom hidden tailpipe, vibratechnics engine and gearbox mounts.
Chassis:
AP racing coilovers, drilled and grooved discs with ebc redstuff pads, brand new and freshly colour coded dare BBS RS reps with colour coded fjord blue centres 7.5j front with 195/40/17 falkens and 8.5j rear with 205/40/17 falkens, 15mm spacers up front and 20mm spacers on the rear.
The paintwork and the wheels are perfect, all work carried out within the last 2 weeks.
I’ve probably forgotten loads but when it comes to me i’ll update the advert accordingly
It has 11 months MOT and 5 months tax.
All for the bargain price of £2500.
