As title suggests just wondered if there are any electronics engineers on here that would be willing to help with a piece of kit I have that needs looking at and testing
Basically it is a main dealer diagnostic machine but has no power supply so need it testing and a power lead to see if it works firstly ,if it doesn't then will want it repaired if possible Plenty of beer tokens await if anyone can help cheers

Get some pics up, how big is the machine, where are you, all these things might help get you the help you're looking for.

It's a small one similar size to snap on solus lol But it's a nissan consult 1 for reference which is obd1 I think got it for my pulsar as thought it may come in handy and if it works would gladly give localish people the use of it for there old nissan s too

Have a look at the power jack, Does it say anywhere on the unit what voltage it uses ?
Could you take a picture of any stickers with voltage, or pictures of the power jack.
I could probably make you a power cable, or show you where to get one !

After a quick google search (With not many results), I'm guessing this has an internal battery ?
Your best bet is to find the voltage & polarity and make a quick test cable up to see if it works.

Yeah I forgot to mention it does have a battery pack inside consisting of 4 pencil nicads in series
