It seems the Galant needs a new distributor, and Mitsubishi have quoted me over £400 for one. I didnt think that was very funny, but it turned out it wasnt a light hearted gag, but a real quote.
Tried to find a donor car on ebay, but they`re all 1.8s or v6s, mine is the seemingly rare middle ground 2.0 twink.
Anyone know anywhere that reconditions distributors, supplies recon ones or does spurious ones for a fraction of the cost?
Really would like to get the thing running again as its my nice long journey car but I aint paying that!
