Hi Guys! I did not find any 'hello thread' so I'd like to introduce myself My name in Marcin, I'm from Wrocław / Poland and currently I'm finishing my studies which is Mechanics and Machine Build on Automotive Engineering specialization. I love classic cars, mostly the icons is the 80's. I love 80's because it is the last time when engineers were thinking about durability and not finances and also because it is a compromise between performance, equipment and let's say economy
So what I'd like to share with you is my tornadorot 1986 Audi Coupe GT, which I bought like 4 monts ago. My 'car story' began with a gay (sorry for those who drive it) Citroen C2, then in between a fiat seicento and later audi a3 1.8 tq, which i got from my mother. But a real start of this 'classic car illness' was when by accident I bought a bmw e28 524td in wonderful color mix of burgundrot outside and pearlbeige inside Then I had an awful- village - style (but cheap- 300E) e34 535i and 5 pot passat 32b-299 syncro, which i really loved and planned to mount inside a 4.2 V8 audi ABZ engine. But let's finish with these boring tales...
so the car looked like that when we came to the previous owner at midnight in Łódź
on the way back
and at home the next day
then cleaning
in between
and finished
new proper oil and filter. After changing there is a huge difference in work of the engine and mostly oil pressure
one of the rims after putting some cleaner + karcher
engine before and after
and this ass, which i find absolutely one of the most beautiful asses in the world
later on with my friend we did some polishing, waxing and more and more cleaning I was at the dyno, then we made a short trip to VAG meeting in Bielawa with my friend and now...i drive it from time to time to listen to this lovely 5 cylinder sound <3 i hope you like this old junk I'll upload some more pics soon.
Cheers
Marcin
