Slightly inspired by looking on carsinbarns.com (sorry, don't know how to link it ) I remembered my camera and snapped this before snow stopped play. It may have been on here before, being quite close to prolific snapper bodieanddoyle, but I don't remember seeing it. Anyway, jonnysierra and I couldn't decide what it was, other than it's probably French cos of the 3 wheel studs! Renault I guess, but what model??

As above.
I think RatDat is starting a breeding programme for these rare beasts.

It's a 15 rather than a 17 isn't it? Similar kind of shape, different side window treatment etc: 15: 17:

I think RatDat is starting a breeding programme for these rare beasts. All that colour too! I passed through B&D country myself at the weekend, frustratingly I saw a few things but no time to snap them as I was on family duties. Did see a forecourt in Stanway area of Colchester with some rod/50's oddities on it, maybe even some French/Oz sedan? That known to any of you chaps from round there?

That's definitely a 15. They're based on Renault 12 running gear, whereas the 17's got the engine from the Renault 16.

In my defence I only saw that pic on the little camera screen! Did see a forecourt in Stanway area of Colchester with some rod/50's oddities on it, maybe even some French/Oz sedan? That known to any of you chaps from round there? I think I know the one, close to Tollgate retail park? Always some oddball stuff there, seen quite a few yanks and some older british stuff parked up on the forecourt. Used to check it out fairly regularly around 1995/96 (when there was a regular cruise at Tollgate, run by a VW Beetle owner called Nick), and still drive by if I'm in the area...

Must have been driving past it for years going by the mould.
