Hi All, Quick question - I'm helping my Dad clear out his back garden and found a set of four alloys, wondering if anyone can identify them and give me a rough idea of what they're worth? They are 15inch Beetle fitment, not sure what offset or width but the tyres on them are 195/50/15's. Two tyres are good, two past their best! Pics below, any ideas?   Cheers Stu |

15x5.5 empi 8 replicas of some sort
i 'think' they usually fetch around £100-£150 depending on condition etc

Cheers Keefy, I thought they looked like some kind of empi replica thing but I'm not well up on aircooled stuff. That price would be fine, they are in decent condition but need cleaning! Will stick them in the classifieds on here along with all the other stuff I've found in the back yard!  While I'm here - what's a fibreglass rear lid (engine cover) worth for a Beetle as I found one of those too?   It's missing a hinge but presumably someone would want it on a lightweight race car/drag car or something?  |

30 quid plus for the decklid dependant on who wants it, anything above that is a bonus
ill have those wheels at the right price for a girl friend of mine

Fastdub - do you fancy the wheels? Let me know 'cos I'm going to start ebay'ing stuff if not Found this roofrack today, used to have it on the bay window Microbus - any ideas what it's worth? I've put it in the classifieds here and on VZI with '£ offers' but don't know what to expect really?  |

rack'll fetch an easy £100 probably £150
if you mention rat look and hoodride.
i'd be interested for my wedge but i can't
justify the price these fetch now.

Cheers guz - that's more than I was expecting to be honest, perhaps I should stick it on ebay with appropriate heading and see what it fetches? If you do fancy it for your van drop me a PM with what you're willing to pay for it, might be enough  Wedge wise I've not found any bits yet, but there will be some somewhere, oh one thing actually - my Dad reckons he has 'jail bars' (is that what they're called?) for a Wedge - those bars that go across the inside of the back window? Any use to you? |

already got a set, they'll easily make £30-35. i'm just start new engine build for my wedge ATM so it aint going anywhere for a few weeks, get the roof rack on VZi with decent offers over £120 and see what kinda cash you make, Pog knows what cash there is in old racks i'll probably get one built for mine using old scrap, it'll keep in character with the ratty looking van. |
