For sale here is my 97 Impreza STi type R, a definite future classic....
MOT - April 2014
TAX - end of Oct
Mileage works out to 81,000 miles (combination of km and miles)
Sonic Blue 74f (same colour as P1)
Garrett GT28 turbo
Front mount inter cooler with polished hard pipes
Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust - 3" turbo back
DCCD - driver controlled diff (open diff gives 70/30 power distribution so the car drives very much like a rwd. This can be controlled right up to diff lock giving 50/50 split)
Forge bov
Magnecor leads & ngk prf7b plugs
Greddy Profec-A boost controller
FET turbo timer
Toad cat. 1 alarm with certificate
Induction kit
Walbro 255 fuel pump
17" Kei alloys
New pads and discs all round
Sony CD player
Sub and amp in a boot build with door and rear speakers built in with mdf (not my cup of tea, but someone spent some money it!)
I also have some brand new Whiteline drop links (front and rear) unfitted to go with the car
Interior of the car is in good condition, with original car mats and standard rear tinted windows. Electric windows and remote central locking.
AIR-CON does not work, the belt has been removed.
Now, the bodywork.... Honestly, it's not great. All arches have bubbles, scuffs (see pics..ask for more as I have loads) and the bumpers side skirts have scuffs and age related marks, the rear bumper needs realigned. The drivers door also has a bump on it at the opening edge. Ideally the car could do with time in a bodyshop and a respray......alternatively, I've been driving it as is, it's passable and the paint does still shine very nicely.
The car is priced to sell.....this is the cheapest DCCD 2dr Impreza on the net. I'm not making any wild claims about bhp but with the turbo/mods it has it will be able to push 400 with injectors, fuel pressure regulator and remap.
I am close to Glasgow and can meet at airport of train stations no problem. Easy enough drive down south from where I am, just off M74
More pics available.....
